Popular recipe counts

To rank popular recipes, we count at most one visit per recipe, browser and UTC day. Your browser creates a random daily identifier, and the server stores only a daily hash alongside the recipe and date for up to 30 days. No IP address, name, email or search term is stored in these counts. These are browser visits, not verified unique people. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals; blocked browser storage disables counting.

No account or mailing list

This version of the site does not ask you to register, submit payment information, or join an email list. Search terms typed into the on-page recipe filter are processed in your browser.

Hosting and access

The hosting service processes requests needed to deliver these pages and may keep technical access or security logs. Administrative access is restricted to the site owner. The administration uses a session cookie for sign-in; public recipe browsing does not require an account.

Turkish pronunciation audio

The Listen in Turkish button plays a short audio file hosted with this site. The file loads when you choose to listen. No installed Turkish voice, speech service account or microphone permission is needed. We do not record your voice. Missing clips are prepared on the server using Google’s Turkish speech service and stored with this site. Only the dish name is sent for synthesis; playback uses this site’s stored MP3. If preparation fails, the server retries later.

Contact messages

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are sent through our hosting mail service to our inbox so we can reply. They are not saved in the website database. A session cookie protects the form; temporary anonymous request counts help prevent spam and expire within an hour.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and page usage. Google Analytics uses cookies, including _ga identifiers, and sends usage information to Google. We do not send contact form names, email addresses or messages to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Analytics is enabled by default without an opening popup, unless you have disabled it in this browser. Your preference is stored in this browser; you can accept or reject analytics and change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Essential administration and contact-form session cookies are separate from this optional choice.
